 All about our services

As our name suggests we are a union of two churches and our roots lie in both the Methodist Church and United Reformed Church traditions. However, people from other traditions have also found their home here.

As a Christian community we welcome everyone because God loves all people. We value our diversity.  Whatever our age, background, culture, gender or race, we each have something special to share with others.

We try to provide a programme of work, worship and witness that is family-friendly and embracing of all ages. Our aim is to provide the conditions in which faith can come alive and grow.

 Everyday Prayer

Lord God, at this harvest season we remember with gratitude those who cultivate the land. We pray for farmers and market gardeners, especially those who in spite of hard work make a poor living and worry about their future. Help us to be willing to pay a fair price for our food so that all may be justly rewarded for their work. Amen
