 All about our services

As our name suggests we are a union of two churches and our roots lie in both the Methodist Church and United Reformed Church traditions. However, people from other traditions have also found their home here.

As a Christian community we welcome everyone because God loves all people. We value our diversity.  Whatever our age, background, culture, gender or race, we each have something special to share with others.

We try to provide a programme of work, worship and witness that is family-friendly and embracing of all ages. Our aim is to provide the conditions in which faith can come alive and grow.

Prayer for the month

Creator God, help us to remember that the earth is yours, and not ours. Forgive us that our collective human activity has put your wonderful world at risk and that we are in danger of destroying all life on this planet. Lord, all of us have a part to play in the way we live our lives, even if we find it difficult and costly. Guide us in all our actions of response, world without end. Amen.
