Preacher: Rev. John Yarrien
Additional Information: Holy Communion (please see the updated guidance sheet for details of how Communion will be served in the light of Covid restrictions).
Our live services, with a preacher in the church, continue to evolve in the light of updated national guidance on Covid-19.
The regular Sunday morning services begin at 10.00am and 11.15am, and last about 35-40 minutes. In line with a phased approach to relaxing more of the Covid restrictions, live singing by the congregation will now be allowed: you may also stand to sing (with or without mask) if you feel comfortable doing so. Although people can make their own choice about wearing masks, the Stewards now suggest that when you sit down for worship, you are free to take off your mask if you wish to do so. Use of hand gel will still be offered as you enter.
To retain partial social distancing, we will continue to have a maximum of 45 people in the church, so you will still have to book if you want to attend the service. Some ‘walk in’ seats will now be available at the 11.15 service, but it will be best to book wherever possible.
To book a place, please contact Val Gould by 6pm on the day before. The preferred contact method is email: you can send an email via the Contacts page, confirming your name, contact details, which service you wish to attend, and how many seats you want to book. Alternatively, you can call the Church Office on (01305) 457477 and leave a message with the same information: name, contact details, which service and how many seats are being requested. The answerphone for this number will be checked daily. Church Members with access to the Church Address Book can also use the personal details listed to make direct contact with Val.
Refreshments continue to be offered between the two services, starting at 10.30: please see page 2 of the June news sheet for full details on how this will work.
